Snowy start

We've had a few light snow falls since we got here but last night we had a nice covering. Up to 11 inches forecast in the next few days so anticipating some real snow activity. Unsure if it will prescipitate for us on Christmas day, more likely just after. Two shots here one out the front and one out the back of the house.

Anne and I and Phil set off for a short walk but ended up trekking 8 k's through the fresh snow. It seems so barren in the woods without their summery vegetation - must be quite different in summer.

Not many golfers here today!

Setting off well dressed for the walk.

Then a long visit to the local shopping centre to complete the Christmas shopping and a visit to Santa to get the kids orders sorted.

So, all is ready for Santas visit for all the good children in the Goldfinch house!
