CLIFFHANGING IN SANTORINI

We loved Mykonos, and weren’t sure what was in store in Santorini. What a different island it is! We arrived by ferry, buses picked us up and up and up you climb, not sure how far above sea level the townships are, but the sea is far below. The view is spectacular. Walking along the cliff tops amongst a myriad of restaurants, jewelry shops and clothes boutiques is revealing whilst taking in the dizzy heights. Private yachts, cruise ships and tourist boats look like plankton as they ply their way about the bay – even the seagulls are a stratosphere below us!

A brief encounter with the local dentist has given me some relief from an aching tooth and courage to battle on through a day of exploring this beautiful island.

  1. Sorry about the tooth! It all seems so precarious, perched on the cliff tops! Mum looks the part, all dressed in white. Except for those shoes :)

  2. It all looks amazing to me! Love your photos especially the one with the big brown urn in the foreground. Very artistic. Glad the tooth is better.

    LOL CP xx
