It gets dark so early here - around 4, that by six it feels more like 9!!
So, a drink before dinner at an Irish pub in French Canada with a couple of time challenged Aussies!
When in Rome do what the Irish do!
Then onto dinner at a traditional Quebeccan restaurant!
The menu was tantalising! I had the "Tourtiere de caribou, cerf, boeuf pie" and Anne the Salmon, washed down with some beautiful blanc et rouge vino! Pie was finely miced meat and difficult to pick the individual flavours but Anne happy with the salmon.
Then, as it was still only 7.30 we took a stroll through the town to take in the Christmas lights and festive feel.
Crazy, but it's now 8.15 - blog done, and another early night beckons!
Get the most out of the day AND get a good night's sleep. Sounds like a double win!
