Well, yesterday was one of those days you need to get from A to B and little else! A wasted day in some ways, a looong day in others with little to show for it! So, I'll be brief. We had a 4.00pm flight and had planned a city walk, but on exiting the hotel we found a predicted -5 degree temp was really feels like -20 temp! It was bitterly cold with the arctic winds blowing through the city canyons! We soon retreated to our hotel and lazed around there and the airport 'till we departed for Vancouver - a 5 hour flight.

Arrived after dark at 6.00 local time but really 9.00 for us. Buggered, we had a desperately needed drink and some dinner and a short walk before crashing into bed. Very comfortable here, an upgrade to a small suite suits us fine. Good position downtown, so off shortly to see what Vancouver offers.
